  1. Likely more that it would cost to replace the Hamster. Standard vet visit $75 - $150

Give your local vet a call and just ask.

  2. CALL A LOCAL SMALL ANIMAL / EXOTIC VETERINARIAN - NO ONE HERE CAN TELL YOU FOR SURE. Good luck!

  3. It is all going to depend on what your vet charges. You are going to get charged for the exam fee(it doesn't matter if it is a hamster or a dog), and then charged for any medicine, etc that the hamster needs.

Where I live an exam fee runs anywhere from $50-$75. One place I go to(one of my emergency vets), cost only $50 to examine the animals. The medicine however adds more $. I have never paid over $20 a medication, however if you are getting two or three different meds that it will add up.

The last rat that went to the vet had an eye infection. It cost $50 for the exam. $25 for two different salves that went in her eye, and another 20 for an antibiotic.

You should call a few vets and ask what their exam fees are, at least you'll have a base to start out. I usually spend an average of $70, but most of the fee is for the exam.

  4. I just had my rat checked out and it cost 85$. She has to have surgery which is gonna cost about $300
