How much does it cost to have a full size telephone pole put in a backyard?

It would be to install a Direct TV dish on because we are in wooded hilly area.

  1. Probably about $900 to $1200, pole, transportation to your site, and labor.  It would be much cheaper to put up an antenna tower.


  2. it will be very costly. you have to get someone to dig a post hole and put that pole in that hole plus the cost of the pole.  put up a tower , it is better and cost less and you can do it. still cost about $300.00 for 30 foot tower comes in 10 foot sections.
