I have a 96 corolla. If you have this installed by professionals, pls let me know how much you paid, and if you are satisfied with the service. Thanks

  1. i have a '98 oldsmobile and i had best buy install my amp and subs (my sub box was already in the trunk so he just screwed my amp to the sub box and put sub wire to my subs and tuned he amp for no extra cost) anyways he charged $90.

  2. you'really just hooking up the amp

they charge 40 dollars at most places

    don't pay 60 that's ridiculous

  3. it will cost about $70 (plus cost of all wire and connectors- another $30- $50) at a best buy or circuit city. or about $100 from a car audio shop (which is what i would recommend), but the prices depend on f you buy your stuff from them also

i would avoid best buy and/or circuit city because their installers usually have no credentials with minimum experience (two installs in their friends driveway) and the don't have the expertise (let them stick to selling TVs)

  4. Just do it yourself like the pros....install it and run less then 3ft ground and run the power throught the firewall along the inside of your carpet and to your amp....run the rca jacks and the amp wire on the other side of your car.....

  5. The prices seem correct. However, one comment about Best Buy is false. All installers have MECP certification by the CEA. Not to mention your installation is covered under warranty for a year. Have fun chasing down that friend of a friend to fix your problems once your install that was done outside your house is acting up.

  6. AMPSUB at Circuit City is $60.
