How much does it cost to have furniture dry cleaned?

My husband lent his couch and loveseat to someone who smoked on it. Now that we're getting it back I want to clean it, and I'm trying to decide if I should have it dry cleaned or clean it myself with a rented wet vac. Does anyone know about how much it would cost to have a standard size couch and loveseat dry cleaned? Should I be worried about the smell of the chemicals for my kids?

If your referring to the tag under the cushions the says '' dry clean only'', if you hire a reputable carpet steam cleaner they should have no problem cleaning it for you. The tag is there so folks wont clean it with a wet dry vac and a garden hose. It should be done for around $100.00. Find out how long they have been in business and a member of BBB as well as the 'International Institute of Carpet and Upholstery Certification''. It will tell you these folks know what they are doing.
