  1. Depending on the tonnage between 1500$ and 3500$ for the condenser

  2. d**n, that is desperate. what about insurance, it may not be worth it to file for insurance. if all they did, I assume they took the unit for scrap metal, it may not be as bas as you think. almost any one can fix that. you could probably find a friend that knows enough just to replace the unit. i would get out my trusty phone book and start calling around. probably cheaper if you go get the unit yourself, and just get some one to hook it up

  3. It depends on the size of your house and the cost of the unit you choose. Your duct work is still in tact so you would really be responsible for the unit and installation. I have a 3 story house and have two of everything from water heaters to furnaces to ac units. You could spend anywhere from $2 - 5000.   Where you live is also a factor.

  4. It should only cost the amount of your deductible.

You may not like the answer, but it's your fault if you did not have insurance, not mine.

  5. WHEN YOU SAY THE SYSTEM WAS STOLEN,WERE YOU REFERRING TO THE CONDENSEN UNIT OUTSIDE? IF THATS ALL THEY GOT , SOMEWHERE AROUND $1000.00 PARTS AND LABOR.

  6. I just had a new 2.5 ton Trane condenser, coil and 80,000 btu funance installed in my home for $4800.  I live in a 3 bedroom, 1800 sf house in NYC.

  7. I thought that's what insurance was for but I just got a bid for CA installation because I already have the furnace and duct work. $3495.00. I'm going to get a couple of more etimates. I live in PA near Pittsburgh. My son had a new furnace, Central air and all of the duct work done in Pittsburgh for $7,000.00

  8. depends on the square feet of your home and design.  I have a 3 bedroom single bath brick home with a full basement under it and the C/H/A for this place in total including the purchase of a new furnace was a little over $3,000. I would say if you look around you could replace it all for 1500-2000.

  9. I'd call my insurance company.  Once replaced, I'd sit up and wait for the S.O.B. to come back to steal the new one....as they know you will be replacing it.  Boy would they be surprised!
