How much does it cost to insure a motorcycle for 18yr old?

I live in houston, tx. I'll be turning 18 soon and have thought of buying a new motorcycle around 12000-14000 from either honda or bmw. I have a perfect driving record...no accidents /tickets. How much would it cost for liability and comprehensive approximately?

Car insurance for an 18yr old is waay up there.....can't imagine what it will be for a motorcycle......probably quite a bit.

ALOT.  Depends on the type of bike also, but look at paying ALOT.  Perfect driving record for two years really won't help you.

Progressive will let you do a free no obligation quote online.  I'm 36 and pay $250 annually.  I would guess your rates are going to be $100+ per month.
