  1. It really depends on where you go to enter. In the card shop I go to it used to be 5 bucks for a single elimination[they dont run that format anymore],10 bucks for a swis[4-6 rounds no matter how often you loose] and 15 bucks for a box[win and get a box]. Prizes are usualy 1-2 tournamnent packs[only in tournaments] but can be other things. I have seen first win 2 gold seris boxes in one case but usualy it wins a mat.

  2. Im kind of confused here but like what do you mean? Most the time and such there are only come here for tournaments ect ect I cant say I have ever heard of a hooby league but if so I would imagine that the only costs would be keeping your deck updated and the occasional tournament with prizes entry fee.

  3. hobby league is the local tournament in your area. you probably know it, just not that its called hobby league.

anyways, its usually just 5 dollars to sign up and you can pay when you go there. but some places may need sign up prior to the day of the tournament, i suggest you find the local card shop in your area and call to check. you can find a tournament locator on the upperdeck website. it shows name, address, and phone number.

also so you know, they give out packs to those who play. it usually varies. my old place gives 1 tournament pack to each person, the new place i go to lets you pick, also they give the winner 3 packs.
