less than it takes to kill him. apparently the death penalty costs more money on average than life in jail, because of all the lawyer fees and appeals and that stuff.  dont get me wrong, i think the death penalty is fine, but those are the facts. dont get em twisted

Too freaking much.  He's spent over 80% of his life behind bars.  It's sad that Tookie Williams, who apologized to his victims for committing murder and nominated for a Nobel peace prize, yet was STILL executed...But Manson, who's never apologized nor admitted to committing the crimes that he did and yet he's still alive.

Now that's a real crime.
