  1. body shops usually charge about 50 bucks to re-align a door enough that it will open and close good, you might can do this one your self by loosening the bolts on the hinges and lifting the door up that may get it back in line good enough to sell,it would be a lot cheaper also, god luck with it.,,PS if the hinges aren't bet and the door isn't bent to badly it can be lined up or if you want to replace it that will cost a lot more,to get done.

  2. ok the cars body needs to be strightened  not much but still in order to do this a ahop will ahve to run a alignment machine(i got a buddy that has one it tells him where to put the atchment then the machine pulls its so cool)

but it sounds like you just want to sell the car and just want the door to open so heres some back yard tricks

ok heres what you do you need to shim the door

you can use washers run through the door bolts on the lower hindge if the door has door bolts to shim the door up

if the hindge is welded you have to jack up the door(exactley what it sounds like) using a jack on the flat part of the door(not the outer edge) use a peice of woood 2x4 about 4-8in long jack up on the door  (removing the door and using a farm jack is a better way if the door is really messed up)

this wil get the door to where it will open and close but you should still advise the buyer that the car needs to be alinged.

    goodluck

  3. Has the door sagged? If so, then open the door and place a 2x4 under the lower edge of the door and on the lower door sill.  From outside, lift the 2x4 up to lever the door up until it aligns. If need be, place another block on the 2x4 under the door to protect the lower door edge. Slow and easy!

  4. Just put a jack under the door near the back corner and jack it up a little, or you could use a long board and pry it up by putting it between the door and door jam (door most of the way shut).  You could also adjust the door hinge possibly by loosening the bolts and sliding it up or put shims/washers behind them.

  5. I'd say $1458.96 plus tax and shop supplies.
