  2. hi well look on real terms London is very expensive in general i have lived north east south and west of it .The south seems a little more cheaper not by much 650 750 to 850 per month but on saying that you'd be better moving into a shared accommodation really if there are 5 people or more it would be less on your pocket .however if you have any friends here that are willing to put you up for a few months that would be a good thing too i hear (reading is nice very studenty )and in London areas ( acton -a good area generally 20 mins from soho 14 from notting hill)dulwich - a bit expensive but a lot of green trees (clapham resturants nightlife) tunbridge wells anywhere just outside is less but  the landlords has we call them prices can be very high and most of them would want a down deposit has well has a months rent sorry to to sound to bleak but prices are shooting up i hope this helps...........good luck

  3. I live in Norwich but can promise you is not cheap. The average price for a one bedroom house if you can find one is around 500.00 pcm minimum. For a flat minimum 400.00. The standard of living over here too is pretty expensive but this city has little to offer anybody even as a tourist.

  4. London is in England,

The UK is England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland altogether,

    London is very expensive,

Scotland/Wales would be a lot cheaper, not has many jobs though,

  5. I wouldn't dare try to survive in London on less than £1,600/month, £19,200 per annum.

  6. London is an expensive city and to live comfortably you want to be earning at least 40K.  Rent can be anything from £500 to £4000 a month depending on which area you want to live in and how swanky a place you want.  Obviously you'll have bills, travel, clothes, food and leisure time to pay for on top of that.  Cheaper places in the UK would be anywhere in the countryside (less jobs though).
