How much does it cost to manufacture a Burton (or quality) snowboard?

I already have a setup. BUrton 157 clash and k2 bindings. I am just curious how much it cost them to make the board they sold me

  1. You can check the website

    If you are gonna do a whole set up budget at least $500

    If you want just a board i would say $200^

  3. I'm gonna have to agree with Craig C on this one.  I get my boards at pro pricing.  One of my boards has an MSRP of $980 and I got it for $120.

  4. While it's easy to find out how much it will cost YOU to buy a snowboard, it's entirely a different thing to to find out exactly what it costs THEM to produce a snowboard.  For obvious reasons this is not something that they're going to want you to know.

    However, that being said, I've looked into industry statistics that are available and it generally only costs 7% of the MSRP (manufactures suggested retail price) to produce a snowboard!!  

    Amazing, don't you think?
