you can own a cessna 152 with minimum instrumentation and high engine time for the price of a new hyundai. a used 1960's lear business jet might be 200-500k. a spankin new g5 pimp-daddy jet will set you back 40-75 million, depending on how you order it, what engines you want, etc. a crew will cost you over a mil a year, pilots, hosts, and ground crew. parts cost, fuel cost, well, you would need to be a freakin' billionaire. start saving!

A minimum of about $50 million initial outlay, plus $2-3 million per year (and usually more like $10 million).

There are some bargains in the used market, though.  Depends on what you need.

or go to Morjave and acquire a BOEING 737/747/757/767 McDonnell Douglas DC-9/10/MD-11 or Airbus A300/A310 Since they are cheap to buy compare to an average brand new 747 when you can buy one at morjave for half the price include engines
