I'm trying to get an average on how much it costs. If you've had your clubs regripped recently, please tell me how much it cost you to do so. Thanks!

  1. Buy the grip for around five dollars and they will usually put it on for another dollar. I do it myself. It's easy. You can buy the complete re-gripping kits on EBAY.

  2. it depends which grips u want and how many clubs that u r going to re-grip.  nicer grips can cost $12+ each...or bad grips can cost a few bucks.  it just depends.  go to a store and find out buddy.

  3. For the labour,  it's about $5 per club.   Golf Pride Tour Velvet costs about $3 now.

  4. Best thing to do is contact a sportings goods store which sells clubs and regrips,a local municipal golf shop or driving range shop which may provide the service and get a firm price for the number of clubs you want regripped.Make sure that the size is correct before you commit.

  5. When I recently had my clubs regripped, I was charged by my club: $11 per iron = $88, $11 per each wood = $ 44 and $15 for my putter.. total: $147 plus tax it ended up being about $155

  6. Most local golf shops will fit you for a grip for free. The lamkin crossline which is what I use will cost you $2.70 per. The tape will cos around $5. You don't need a hook knife just be careful with your utility knife not to gouge the shaft if it's graphite. Grip solution is inexpesive but you can get mineral spirits or paint thinner cheaper and get a spray bottle. You don't need a vice but it does make it easier. But if you don't want to do it yourself it will cost $60-$90 for all 13 clubs in your bag (besides your putter).

  7. Hitch Hi got it pretty much right except..... You absolutely do need a hook knife. Without one you will ruin at least some of your graphite shafts and maybe part of your body in the process. Average cost for grips is $2 to $4. You can grip a full set in about an hour..

  8. About $8.00 per club with basic material used for grips

  9. Grips run from $5-$9 depending on the brand.  Usually, the golf shop will not charge a labor cost when you purchase the grips from them.

On average per club, it should cost you anywhere from $5-$9 per club...so say $7.

So, for your irons (7irons:3-9) should be around $49

    Three wedges @ $7 = $21

    Driver, 3-wood, and hybrid = $21

    Putter....naah...don't do the putter = $0

Total guesstimate:  $91.....so maybe up to $100

  10. It will vary, I just had my whole bag done for $67.00
