How much does it cost to rent a movie from Blockbuster these days?

I'm talking about a brand new release. How much?

No, I'm not interested in joining their total access plan. I already have netflix, which I love.

I haven't set foot in a blockbuster in the 4 1/2 years I've had netflix. I want to know how much their prices have risen, and if I'm missing anything. I don't think I am.

Also, just wondering, has their customer service imporved any in the last 4 years or so? It was pretty bad the last time I was in one. Thanks!!!

4.19 with tax, with out tax 3.99

It all depends on how friendly you are with the people there. I am friends with the managers at several blockbusters, just by being a regular. I can easily call ahead and get the movies I want ready at the counter waiting for me.
