How much does it cost to rent a pick-up truck?

My boyfriend and I love the drive-in. Recently my brother got a girlfriend and he wanted to do a double date. We all decided the drive-in sounded good, and my brother had this idea to rent a big pick-up truck and throw tons of pillows and blankets in the back cause he thinks it'll be real comfortable. I told him we could try it, but I have no idea how much it costs to rent a pick-up truck, and I don't know where to look. Plus, this just seemed like an easier option. So if you know how much it costs on average to rent a pick-up truck for a couple hours, could you let me know? I actually don't know if you can do that, but I'd still like to know. Thanks :]

Depending on how long and how big the truck, it varies in hours, but who would waste money on an idea like that?

Well- it depends on how big. I just rented a truck this weekend, and usually the company you choose would give a flat rate for the truck and then so many cents per mile. I don't want to start throwing out companies rates, but just try a few of the bigger named ones first. Why wouldn't you just use your own pickup and throw blankets in the back? It's the same concept without spending the extra cash...

U-Haul rents by the day, Enterprise by the weekend, and Budget by several days, depending on availability of trucks. At today's gas prices, make sure the drive-in isn't very far away because you buy the fuel and sometimes pay per mile. Good luck.

I never heard anyone rent them for few hours.  Ages must be at least 25 and credit history will be verified. I'm not sure what pick up truck you are looking for. But it charge by the rate, depend on location and what car. price can start around 700 and up.
