How much does it cost to repair a 42 inch 1080 plasma tv with a cracked screen?

I found one for sale and I just wondered if it would be worth the hassle if it cost me $100 to buy.

depends how badly cracked it is, if the damage is to the actual pdp, it will usually be cheaper to buy a new screen as sets are mass produced on production lines now, and to pay for the part AND pay a human being to take the set apart and replace the screen it can get quite expensive, usually totalling more than the tv set cost in the first place

Try looking at other brands ad types before you decide to buy. Check Consumer reports for types available and pricing.

Get it from Reputable store that will back up the merchandise with a real warranty. (Pointless buying a Set at local Big-Box Electronics store and have to send to Taiwan for Warranty repairs)
