  1. It can be very  minor at the most replace the clutch. It might need a adjustment. FZ750 what ever doesn't know what he is talking about . Yes it might be abused and it also not be. A clutch is a normal wear thing they all have to be replaced sooner than later. If the rest of the bike is good I would buy it. To see if it is adjusted right  when you pull in the left lever it should move so there is about a 1/8 inch gap between the lever and the handlebar  perch that it is attached to. Then the you should feel it pull on the clutch. This is a rough guess as to what your free play should be.If you have any more questions feel free to email me.

  2. If it's an 06 and the clutch is burnt up, it has obviously has been seriously misused. No telling what else is wrong with it. Stay away from this bike. That's a bad sign from a 2 year old bike.

You are looking at $125 for just the clutch fibers. Hopefully that's all that is needed. Another $100 for labor is the mechanic isn't looking to rip you off. That's a best case scenario.

Worse case you need fibers, steel plates, and springs and that's about $200 for the kit, and $150 to $200 labor.

Either way, it's not really worth it since that bike seems to have been dogged out. It takes a lot of abuse to burn a clutch up in that short amount of time on a new bike.

  3. Honey your buying someone elses money pit

Its been beat like a red headed step child

  4. Somebody may have put some additive in the oil like slick 50...That will make a clutch slip...
