  1. if you find out let me know my wife has ours on for hours even on a hot day like today she has a line in the garden too no wonder i'm always semi naked when i'm indoors must be 100f in my house

The above has some guide lines, we seem to be the dearest country in Europe!

Like you I prefer to line dry but it can be a problem in the winter or on wet days. I think microwaves might 'cook' washing

  3. depends on the size ?

  4. To work out the running cost of your tumble dryer or any other electrical item, first you need to look at your leccy bill and find out what you are being charged per/kilowat/hour. Then you need to find out the wattage rating for the appliance.

So talking in round figuers, if your charge rate is 10p per kilowat/hour, and you run something rated at 1000w(1KW) for 1 hour, it will cost you 10p plus VAT maybe ?

  5. per an hour I would think that it would cost you around 3 pounds +-

  6. most are 8.000 watts so thats 8 killo watts

so see how much your supplyer is charging

per killo what hour then 8 times it for a hour
