How much does it cost to ship a large envelope USPS?

I wanted to ship out a 6 page document and send it in a large envelope so I don't have to fold the pages up.

It does matter what kind of envelope you use as far as the weight goes. Also make sure it is not more than 12 X 15 inches  I put 11 sheets of paper on the scale and it still weighed only 2 ounces.  The First Class rate is $1.00.  If you want to send it Priority you can pick up a free envelope at your local Post Office and the Flat Rate is $4.80 no matter how much it weighs.  Priority is the 2-3 day service   For all your shipping and rate questions you can go to usps.com

It will probably depend on where it's going.  Where I work we send several pages in a large manila envelope and it usually is around $1.00 but it's not going very far.  You can go to the post office web site and put in the information and get an idea of the cost.
