How much does it cost to spay/neuter a guinea pig?

It really varies, not only by vet, but by geographical location.

In my area, a neuter is between $60 and $100. A spay is between $150 and $200. The spay is more costly due to the invasive nature of the procedure.

Remember that with guinea pigs, a spay or neuter will not change behavioural issues. It will only make the animal sterile. Guinea pigs do not do well with anesthesia so be very sure that this surgery is necessary before subjecting your piggie.
