How much does it cost to stay at Hotel question!?

Question

Okay, i want to stay at a decent hotel, not too fancy but not dirt cheap either, one night stay would be around 99-130$.

Lets say i wanted to live there for like 3 weeks.

would they give me a discount?

or would it be 130 every day.

I just want a general idea of how this hotel deal works.

somtimes they do have monthly rates, you have to ask.

You need to employ every trick in the bag to get the best rate on hotels. You need to check online: it's good to check with several online agencies - Orbitz, Expedia, Travelocity. You need to check aggregator site such as Sitessidestep, Mobissimo and Kayak. You should also check with the travel agent, and finally the best thing to do is to call the hotel directly and ask if there are any specials or deals. Make sure you talk about whether you can offer AAA, or an autoclub membership - an AARP if you're a member of AARP. If you're traveling on business, ask for the hotel's corporate rate. You need to check all of those to make sure you get your best deal on a hotel room.

There's a few hotel chains like Extended Stay America and Residence Inn that cater to business travelers who spend long periods of time away from home that may have weekly rates.  Otherwise, the majority of hotels have daily rates.

Where are you planning to travel to?  If it's a touristy area like New York, Florida, California, London, Paris, etc..., you could rent a vacation villa/apartment.  These typically have weekly rates that are MUCH cheaper than hotels and you can negotiate rates for longer rentals.  I've used www.rentvillas.com for villa rentals in Europe.  You can search the internet for villa rentals sites in the the US.
