How much does it cost to take golf clubs to England from the US via American Airlines?

Hi,

I'm flying from NYC to London Heathrow in December and I would like to take my clubs with me. Being a bit lazy as I could call AA and get the answer, but anybody on here know how much it will cost?

  1. At least 25 dollars and possibly more as airlines are charging to check a second bag and many charging to even check one.


  2. I have no idea now that they have changed their baggage rules. But we normally fly BA and my husband takes his clubs as part of our checked baggage and we have not had to pay for them. That was London to Dallas and back.
