  1. Alot!!

Ok so between €750 and €2000 a month for rent depending on where you live!

About €70 a week per person for food (€50 for each person per week after that!!)

About €60 every 2 months for the leccy and then your phone bill could be about €60 a month including internet.

There is loads more but just for rent, food, one month electricity (half the bill) and telephone you are looking at €1310 a month.

  2. It's expensive. Don't forget utility bills like electricity, home heating oil or gas, running your car, getting your rubbish removed .... it all adds up.

  3. generally 300euro in the countryside for a week and 500euro in Dublin (depending on your rent)

  4. A couple of potatoes and a heavy drinking habit.

  5. Which part of Ireland? The island of Ireland has two states - the Republic and Northern Ireland.

The Republic is quite prohibitive at the moment price wise the northern counties not so. But the recession is hitting everywhere and pricing is all relative.

  6. Cost of living is quite high here especially in Dublin and Galway.

  7. it coats about 800-1000 euros a month for one bed apartment but if you go for sharing it can be 250-500 euros a month, food is cheapest in lidls aldis and tesco-you can get a tesco clubcard, for cosmetics like deodarant soaps and toothpaste use boots-they have great points on their clubcard or the euro 2store is ok if you realy want to save and use pennys their clothes arent good quality but nothing is more  then 30 euros for shoes theres shoe zone nothing is more then 30 euros there aswell, for first time car insurance-www.insure.ie is the best price and for petrol tesco is best price, the cinema is expensive at 9.80 for one ticket-but they have cinema cards for 20per month you can watch any amount of movies with this card but in your first payment its 40euros you can usualy expect minimum wage for many jobs unless your bar staff or waiter or a shop manager or working in tesco-the pay there starts off at 10euros per hour-its just like anywhere else you have to budget-i think rent is the main expense and we have to pay for electricty every 2months and bin tags every week we dont have any water charges yet

  8. hi you

i will will admit to Ireland not been one of the cheapest places to live in  but like all other counties it up to you live still and where you live in Ireland you can live cheaply here in most places

  9. search your computer for ireland and find out how much to live there, I rather like to go to Ireland to visit some of the areas that my great-grandparents knew, the two places that I would like to visit are County Mayo and County Sligo
