  1. I never shoed my horses, but a monthly trim was about $40 a horse.

  2. I pay $70 for front shoes and a trim

  3. Well my horse that is barefoot its about $30 every six weeks for a trim.

For my horse with shoes & pads its like $100.00 every six weeks. But I know my farrier & he cute me a deal. So it really depends on the farrier. I hope I helped.

  4. The cost of the farrier work depends on what you want done and where you live.  I pay up to 110 for 4 shoes, 85 for 2 front and 30 for a trim.

I get a little break because we have 11 to do here.

Most horses can travel well on just trims, and they happen about every 6 weeks. So you can do the math and figure how much that is in a year.

If you board you may pay as much as 350 or pasture board for about 250 per month. Pasture board usually requires you to do some of the work yourself and they don't live a stall. You see it all depends on what your needs are and where you live.
