Specifically, what are the yearly costs to own, such as registration and other fees, typical maintenance, and what are some unexpected costs to new owners? Thanks!

  1. Depending on your ski you will want to follow your Owners manual for maintenance costs.  Your best bet is to call different dealers and ask them what they charge for a Scheduled maintenance.

Registration not sure about I cant find  it,

Your biggest expended besides monthly payment if any will be your Gas.  How much do you want to ride You can go through one tank a gas a day or as many as four.

Keep in mind the HP of the engine too that will effect your amount of gas you use an hour.

I have known people to spend up to 400 a month during the summer to ride.

Also you want to find out where your going to Launch there may be a fee to drop the ski in the water.

    Best of Luck!

Also you have to get insurance and that can cost between 150-400 a year depending on your age, driving record and credit score and a couple of other things.  I would suggest getting the best possible coverages as there are a ton of million dollar yachts on the water now a days if you hit one WOW that's a pretty penny.
