  1. depends where ya go. iv seen it anywhere from 300-500 and thats for blood, hospitalization, the procedure, pain meds cus its a painful procedure. its like cutting off the first bone on each of ur fingers. no fun.

  2. dont declaw your cat imagine cutting your finger off thats what its like

and it can change their personality too! its really that bad trust my bff got a 2 cats about 7 yrs ago as kittens before they were declawed they would always play and cuddle and be sweet.. after they were declawed one was slugish and tired 24/7 for the rest of his life the other one died 2 days after he left the vet hospital dont do this to your cat it will traumatize him or her HERE A SOME ALTERNITAVES: SOFT PAWS (kinda like nail coverings) SCRACTHING POSTS AND TRIMMING NAILS

  3. It can vary from vet to vet (call around and compare prices but it will probably be anywhere from $100 on up, it also depends on the procedure and if you are doing just two paws or all four.

  4. depends on how you want it done.

    laser costs more than regular

the regular way is around $100 depending on the vet and laser around $150 depending on the vet

btw i had mine declawed she did just fine i was nervous about doing it but she is still her happy lovey self

  5. Please do not mutilate your cat in this way. Do some research into the alternatives. It's not just a question of removing the claws, they remove the first joint as well. Do you love your cat or your furniture the most. If it's your furniture, give your cat to someone who will appreciate it, claws and all!

  6. You realize that what they do when they declaw is amputate the kitten's fingers? Some cats have painful, sensitive paws for the rest of their lives, and they don't like using the litter box because the litter hurts their paws. Basically, you trade one problem for another.

Calling around to 3 or 4 vets and asking is the easiest and most direct way to find out. But instead of declawing, I suggest getting the kitten a scratching post or two, and/or using Soft Paws, which are little coverings that you put on the cat's claws. They come in designer colors. You could get them to match the cat's collar.

  7. dont declaw it! its just like taking our fingernails off. just trim their nails every once in a while

  8. INTERESTING SCREEN NAME FOR WHAT YOU WANT TO DO WITH YOUR CAT.

ARE YOU SURE THAT THIS IS THE ANSWER ?

  9. You are free to call around the vets in your area and get a price quote.  Unfortunately, your cat is not free and cannot make the decision to keep his claws.

Read up on declawing before you make this decision. You'll be glad you did and I hope you will change your mind.  http://maxshouse.com/Truth%20About%20Dec...

  10. How much does it cost ?

Are we talking the cost in money or the cost to your cat ?

The cost to your cat is alot higher, he will losse his toes and suffer great pain.

    DO NOT DO IT

  11. Its better to have it done when they are kittens. Cats have a harder time recovering. I had my cat de-clawed when he was a kitten but only his front paws it was only $100.00 and that included his neutering too.

  12. I don't know how much it costs. But i suggest that you by some cat clippers but only cut the tip because the veins could still be close to the claws. Your cat might struggle a lot but you need to snip it.
