  1. Ummm, why do u wanna buy a two year old?

  2. It depends on the cruise line. I know on Disney it depends on your kids ages. If they are under 3 I think they are cheaper. (I think 199?) When I sailed on Disney when I was a teenager I remember my 2 year old brother got to sail for free. Too bad they changed that, huh? And you can have up to 5 or more in a cabin. Unfortunately my kids were 3 and 5 so  I think we paid 399 for them.

Other cruise lines charge cheaper for 3rd and 4th passenger in a cabin. It depends on what cruise line and how long the sailing is for...but it is generally around 300-600.

The only trick is that they don't have as many cabins available for 4 passengers. I was just looking into a cruise that was pretty cheap and they were out of cabins for 4 so I would have had to pay regular price for my kids because they would have been passenger 1 and 2 for the second cabin.

  3. FREE on some MSC Cruises!

  4. There are no childrens' fare, but there is a 3rd and 4th person in the same room fare. and they are usually less than regular adult fare.  If the child is the 2nd person in a room, then it is a full adult fare.

My next cruise, 7 night to SOuthern Caribbean on Royal Caribbean ship, my son who will be just 1 year old, and cost $499 where the adult's fare is $1099 per person. BUt on some cruise ship and on certain trips, the 3rd person can cost upto $999.  But on some cruise, I've seen them as low  as $299.

DUring the summer, 3rd and 4th person rate is high because lot of family travel with kids.  Off season they 3rd and 4th person rates drops significantly.

Remember that it is not the age of a person they care about, it's the body count on a ship. a child or an adult takes up a spot from the max passenger count, a life vest and a seat on the life boat.. so there is no discount.. even if they don't eat the ships' food or use the ship's facilities.

    I hope that helps.

  5. I've never bought one,,,didnt know they sold them in the ship's store!

  6. They will usually say things like "3rd passenger discount" etc...  Here is an example:

Guest 1 Cruise Fare             $1,399.00 USD

Guest 2 Cruise Fare $1,399.00 USD

Guest 3 Cruise Fare $499.00 USD

It depends on the Cruise line.  We have taken our children on a few and they have all been different.  But, no, they aren't free.  Call the cruise line!

  7. not alot i dont think check out the royal carribean website!

but it will be totally worth it...cruises are amazing...i get travel sick and ive never thrown up on any cruise liner!

    AMAZING!!

  8. They are the same price as anyone else, but when they are traveling as a 3rd or 4th person its usually about 1/2 the cost of the 1st and 2nd person. ( I know it sucks having to pay that much for a baby huh?)
