How much does knowing Latin help on the SATs?

Is it worth taking a Latin class or no? Thanks!

I studied French, Spanish, German and Latin in high school.  I truly believe that Latin was by far the most helpful in building my vocabulary.  In fact, I feel it was the most pivotal of all my language studies; I still use that knowledge consistently in both my reading and my writing to this day.

definitely worth it. taking latin will give you a much better understanding of english etymology. will probably boost your reading score by 100 points.
