  1. look up some of the marina's in the area and e-mail them, or call the area code of the city in question and call them to ask

  2. I live aboard a 38' boat on SF Bay. Live aboard slips are difficult to find here on The Bay. Get on as many waiting lists as you can. Check with every harbormaster.

We pay $275/Mo slip fee, $150/Mo live aboard fee and $20 to $60 / Mo for electricity.

  3. I moved my boat and dive business out of s.f. in the 80's because it got too expensive. Guess where I moved> Seattle

Best place I found was on the olympic pen. I know this doesnt help on monthly cost but I wouldnt be accurate.

But please think about  liveaboard rules in the bay area are some of the strictist. I know it is easy to do but those marina 's are cracking down.

    Good Luck

  4. A lot! SF is one of the most expensive areas to live in the country. You can call any of the many marinas (or look them up online) for prices per ft.

  5. I may not be of much help, as I more out the East Coast way. I found the link, you can scroll for some phone numbers. Wish I knew more.

  6. In San Francisco bay the harbor charges plus taxes for 1 year will probably exceed the cost of your boat, you may be better off moving to Oregon or Washington.
