  1. I don't know the chain size for the Aircraft Carrier you have in mind but I can give you a reference.  The chain is measured by link Diameter, a standard strength 4" link weighs about 234 Kg/M. Thats about 163 lbs/foot.  I would imagine it to be at least two feet long or 326 lbs.


  2. Sounds like a boating question.  I'm sure I saw this on the Discovery channel, but I can't remember. Did you want one for your yard?
