  1. Medi-Caid, Medi-Cal, and Medi-Care, LOL, do not cover it.  It runs a couple thousand dollars.

  2. A couple thousand which isnt covered by Medicaid . What I decided to do is to donate it and if ever God forbid in the future we need it, it can be tracked down through paperwork filled out at the hospital.

  3. It is extremely expensive, around 900-2100 with a 100 annual storage fee. However, you can donate it, and it is free, and usually you will be the first to be able to use it. No Medicaid will not cover the cost of it, because it isn't deemed medically necessary. There isn't any insurance that I know of that would cover the cost of it. You can call Viacord for more info if you'd like at 1-866-384-0476.

  4. No. Viacord is either $2000 up front and then a fee annually (I believe) to maintain or you can pay $4000 up front. My husband and I did the up front amount, but it isn't covered by insurance or medicaid

  5. It varies.

I got some information by mail and it says that in a 12 month plan is $181.00 a month and $341.00 on a 6 month plan.

  6. medicaid does not cover it you have to pay 4 it im on medicaid sorry
