How much does the Cord Blood Registry typically cost?

I called 2 different companies. one was $1850 and 200$ per year "maintenance"

and the other one was $1990,  with $180 a year maintenance

I decided not to due it because the economy and oil prices have effected even this. I just couldnt afford it.

as far as I know it is several thousands. You have to have some one come and get it, plus the cost each year of having it criogenically(spelling) frozen. That is a regular cost. It is very expensive, but if you have the money then why not???

All companies are different. The Cord Blood registry they advertise on Babyzone.com is $3000.00 up front and $38. monthly.

thats for viacord. um you pay the $2000 one time and every year after that is $125

$2,000 plus $125/year but there are payment plans for $40/month
