It's an all electric truck (or SUV) made by Phoenix Motorcars. I can't find the price of it, and is it available to buy in the US, and outside of California?

  1. Read the fine print. It says you need 250KW charging capacity to charge fast. That is a huge amount of power. You would need a sub-station big enough to supply 20 homes just to charge one car.

Why do you keep hanging on to these electric cars? If they were cost effective and practical, we would be driving them. It has nothing to do with "GM Killed The Electric Car", it has to do with Physics, Math, Engineering, and economics.

  2. Id almost bet "if you have to ask it's too much"

that economicomical Dana,   45.ooo for a truck that will go 100 miles and then have charge up again did I read that right?

  3. Right now it's only available to fleets.  In about a year or so Phoenix will start selling to individuals, and the SUT or SUV will cost $45,000.

There will be some cheaper (~$30,000) electric cars becoming available around that time as well.
