    $400.000 plus benefits. Also, they have to put up with constant threats etc... If the economy flourishes, they flourish, if it suffers it will suffer.

  4. i think the president of the us can earn a lots money a year ,because of embezzling .i don know how does he do that? but i think he is really rich , he doesn't take care about poor .in my opinion he just take care rich person who give him money

  7. 400000 but they get free postal service, office space. They also have a different budget for staff and another for transportation. Even after they aren't president any longer, they still get pension and the staff budget on the side. Also, they get office space after too.

    The first lady also gets her own pension. And even more if she's widowed later on.

  8. $400,00 plus all the perks.  Retirement fund, insurance, books, interviews etc.  Most of the money is probably made after their out of office but the perks while your in and after are unreal.

  10. Yes, It is interesting that so little wage, and yet they spend millions to get that job. It would be like you spend a million to get a job at McDonald's? I have always wondered why, surely it can be the power?

  11. $400,000 plus free healthcare, EVERYTHING paid, free housing, free automobiles, free trips on taxpayer money,  free days off whenever he pleases,  free food, free all of it. out of office... about as much as when he's in office
