How much does the average babysitter make these days??

i need to know because im trying to earn enough money to buy myself a camera,a nintendo ds, and a 300$ feild trip.

and i dont want to be played.

I think the going rate is between $8.00 and $10.00 per hour. This depends on how many children you are baby sitting and if they give you other chores to do. If it were a regular all day job it would be a little less per hr.
