How much does the new iPhone cost in Egypt (in Egyptian Pounds)?

A relative that lives in Egypt asked me to buy him the new iPhone from the US. I just saw that Vodafone has recently begun offering the iPhone in Egypt, so I am thinking it would be much easier for him to just get it from there rather than going crazy trying to find an unlocked iPhone here... unless it for some reason it is much more expensive in Egypt. Does anyone knows how much it costs in Egyptian pounds?

  1. a friend of mine bought it for 5 thousand but i think ive seen it for a little less.

    it is available for sale ive seen a few. but its not widley available because its imported then uncoded or so to work in egypt


  2. It is still not offered for sale till now. Besides, it will be locked to the vodafone network.
