How much does the top of your ear hurt to get pierced?

ive got my lobes pierced, but i was 2 and don't remember if it hurt loll. got my nose done and my tongue and want this done next. was thinking of going to Claire's Cause they apparently do it with a gun an thought it would be less painful Cause its quicker . how bad the actual pain when its pierced ? Any suggestions ?

I would suggest going to a piercing shop and having it done properly with a needle. You could so some real damage getting it done with a gun....

as far as pain it's not that bad compared to the other piercings I've got.

I believe you're referring to a cartilage piercing .

mine hurt the same as when i got my lobes done ( a sharp prick, like someone had pinched your ear ) but it's a different pain for everyone

It'll hurt less than your nose, and should hurt less than your tongue ;] !

I would advise not going to Claire's, as guns can shatter your cartilage and is much more likely to cause an infection

it won't heal til like a month later

my friend got one.

they suck!

it gets infected really easily

so go to a perfessional

and everyone uses guns hun.

its like a huge clicking sound in ur ear9from the gun) and then it kinda burns a little(only a little though) and then it starts to throb for half an hour,then a dull ache,and then nothing.

so for about an hour it will hurt.

but not much longer than that

mine hurts to turn it though.

i have both sides done. it hurts a little (like a pinch) when they do it but after when its healing it hurts a lot (a bout a 7)<--hahaha

its very sore and hard to sleep

just make sure to keep it very very very clean that type of piercing gets infected easily:)

yeaaaaa and it takes a longgggg time to heal.about a month of soreness:(
