How much does the war in Iraq and Afghanistan cost the taxpayer a day?

I was watching prince harry call in some airstrikes a few months ago on the news. Does he realise how much each airstrike costs? Rockets don't grow on trees my friend. But how much do they cost? I think the money could be better spent than invading two countries. Stop Terrorism by not commiting it!

In comparing to the daily income of the whole America, it is zero.

Without those wars, would american be able to do any business at all? Hence, those wars are merely investment to keep business as usual.

The US spends $341.4 million per day for Iraq alone.  I don't know about the UK.

if they want to waste all that money on war i think they should get rid of the monarchy and sell the crown jewels in order to help fund the war, rather than spending all my money!!

The cost is immaterial - if someone calls in an airstrike it's because British lives are at great risk - how much worth do you put on someone's life then??

Well since the UK has not commited the same to this war as the USA has(of course we started it..) the UK is spending millions per day. Everyone should pull out and put this money into stopping terrorist at home, then issue a refund to each taxpayer and an apology for being so stupid for spending our money like a two year old at a Dollar store!!!
