  1. CES is a trade-only show meaning that unless your company has registered with the CEA, your will not be allowed to attend, however there is an exception for trade students, but they are allowed only on 1 day, and this year it was a 100.00 admission fee.

    From CES website.

The International CES is a trade-only event. Students are only permitted on Thursday, January 10, 2008.  All students will be charges $100 on-site, and students cannot register in advance. Students must show a student ID to qualify for this single-day rate. If the student ID does not have a photo, they will have to show a photo ID in addition to their student ID. Please contact International CES customer service at CESreg@CE.org or (866) 233-7968 with any questions.
