How much does your 8 month old baby weigh?

My baby girl weigh's just a little over 14 pounds and she is 8 months. Her doctor's say she is healthy. She eats normal. She was 6lbs 15 ounces at birth. I am just wondering how much other baby's weigh at 8 months. Thanks.

My son will be 8 months old on September 2nd, and he's about 20lbs. He is a large baby for his age, and was 8lbs 2 oz at birth.

Mine is a tad over 14 lbs as well and was 6 lbs, 6 oz at birth.  She's an extremely active baby and very muscular.  She has a good appetite but loves to bounce and crawl around.  When you hold her she jumps up and down and has since she was very little.  She's in the 5th percentile but healthy.

My others were various sizes but mostly mid to slightly larger, one was completely off the charts on the other end of the scale so this one is a bit of a surprise.

My son turns 8 months tomorrow, and he weights 18 lbs.

he is not fat because he is really long.

he was born at 7 months and 6.12 lbs

he eats a lot and digest rather quickly.

My 8.5 month old daughter is 20 lbs.  But she's really long too.  And she was 8 lbs at birth.

Well, my son is 7 months old and 21 lbs! Ah! He's quite the healthy boy! He is tall for his age though and doc said he's in the 75th percentile.

My son weighed in last week at 16 lbs 9 oz but that was only about an hour after his bottle so he would weigh a little less. He weighed 6 lbs 13 oz at birth. My nurse also says my son is healthy. I always wonder because I see 4 month olds that are bigger and weigh more than him but it all depends on their body type. I was always a small kid so they figure thats where he got it.

As long as she is healthy you have nothing to worry about! I know how you feel!

My son weighs 21 lbs and he's 7 months old, he was 8lbs 8oz when he was born.

My son is 12 weeks tomorrow and is about 14 lbs (according to my home scale minus my weight). He's got his next doctor appointment in Oct but I might take him in for a quick weight check before, just to find out when we really need to upgrade his car seat. He's healthy and happy.

oh yeah he was 6 lbs 4 oz at birth.

shes 13 months now & weights 21lbs

so she gained an avarege of 1 lb per month between then & now
