Depends whether or not you calling from a mobile or not and who your telephone provider is.

Most people these days have some sort of deal on their landlines where you get free calls or just a certain amount of money to connect.

Its a national call so it will be billed at a national rate

Ask the bill payer!

I personally use skype (through my computer) all calls to landlines are just about 3p  to connect and thats it  or free from skype to skype.

The rates change from provider to provider, the type of contract,the time of the day ,the day of the week, etc.

From a public phone box, the minimum charge is 40 pence and you can talk more than 3 minutes before you have to add some more money

It should just be national rate.  If you have any doubt about your particular phone charges, best to contact your service provider before making your call.  Sometimes there are little details that vary from network to network, better be safe than sorry!
