  1. Is there a REASON why you want to declaw your cat? It's a cruel and usually unnecessary procedure. Please research it!

Anyways, best way to find out how much it'll cost, is to call your local Banfield and ask. Prices vary based on location, etc.

  2. i just talked to my vet about neutering our new kitty and he said it was $60 but i hear it is more for a girl.

also please don't declaw your kitty, it's very cruel and painful for them.  consider caps for your kitties claws, they are soft claw covers so that they can't damage fabrics with them without hurting the kitten.  here's a link

you can also do a little google work to find out more about them..  it's what we use on our kitties!

  3. I have no idea the cost of having your cat spayed, but please read below on declawing your cat.  Not a good thing to do to your cat.

Declawing is NOT Just Nail Trimming

Nor is declawing only the removal of a portion of a claw. Instead, it is the surgical amputation of the first joint of the cat's toes. Whether this procedure is accomplished with a scalpel, a guillotine-type cutter or a laser, it is major surgery, and not to be undertaken lightly.

    Declawing is Painful Surgery

Think of it as 10 amputations (if only the front feet are declawed). Pain meds may help initially, but phantom pain may last for weeks or months, as nerve endings heal. Dr. Nicholas Dodman describes the pain following surgery: "Unlike routine recoveries, including recovery from neutering surgeries, which are fairly peaceful, declawing surgery results in cats bouncing off the walls of the recovery cage because of excruciating pain."Declawing May Lead to Litter Box Problems

Declawed cats often associate the pain when digging in litter with the litter box itself, and will avoid it, choosing softer carpeting instead.

  4. found it on the web

  5. please research what declawing a cat can do to them, there are more cons than pros!

they need their claws for defense, and if they don't have them, just think about what can happen.

there are other alternatives to declawing.  A product called Soft Paws.  Their website is www.softpaws.com

and the cost for having your cat spayed varies, you will have to talk to your veterinarian.

  6. dont know but please leave the claws alone..

  7. Banfield... in CA?

    if in CA VERY expensive.

e-mail me if you are in Socal and I will give you a fantastic cheap one.

PLEASE do not have your cat declawed!

  8. DONT DECLARW IT its totally mean i have 2 cats and they really need there claws to climb and get up fences. imagine someone is chassing your cat and he/she can not climb up the fence to get away from them. you have to think about these things. or i strongly recomend getting the little bubber things that can go on the end of your cats claws they can still climb and they dont pin your chairs
