How much dry dill equals one head of fresh dill?

Question

Have a pickle recipe that calls for one head of dill per jar. Don't have any fresh, but have both dry dill weed, and whole dill seeds. Which, and how much should I use?

I need a 1 1/2 cup of fresh dill weed i only have dry whats 1 1/2 cup = to dry  dill weed making pickles?
