How much duty/tax I will need to pay to mail a camcorder to Canada?

Hi, I am going to buy an around $600 camcorder in the US, and use USPS to ship it to Canada. Beside the postage charge, will I need to pay some extra things like duty? How much that would be? Thanks.

i dont remember the exact numbers as I havent worked in the shipping department for many months but i beleive it will be about 70-80 dollars in duties... make sure you have payment set up so your packages doesnt get held up in customs

It depends on what the item is, why it's being sent to Canada and other factors.

How much you would pay (If they decide to charge you) depends on the value of the item. I'm not sure of the rates, though.
