  1. KW is not an amount of electricity. It tells you how quickly energy is being transferred.  1Kw is transferring 1000 Joules of energy each second.

    What you need to know is how much electrical energy a Zenn requires to last for 35 miles.  Then you can work out the charging current and time it is needed for.(hence battery capacities are quoted as AmpHours or mAhours)
