  1. If a full conservation plan was enacted in residential users, it's estimated electrical usage would drop by 50-70% so that could be considered wasted. Industry estimates of implementing reduction practices are smaller, maybe 30-40% so that could be considered wasted electricity since we can prevent the need to consume it. Overall about 50% of electrical usage is from inefficiencies in the use and the system.


  2. what are you looking for if it is produced than it gets used,or if a power line falls and it has electricity running through it sure it gets wasted but breakers trip and the flow of power stops.My neighbours sons listen to rap I think that is a waste of electricity so does that count
