  1. The amount of power that may be safely drawn from an outlet is the product of the voltage and the current rating, and the units are watts. For 15 and 20 amp circuits (assuming 120 VAC--volts alternating current), the power ratings are 1800 and 2400 watts, respectively.

  2. 120 volts

  3. Lots of different answers because it depends on the country.

Restate the question with your country and you will get a better answer.

    .

  4. 120v to 240v.

usually anything up to 20amp depending on the age of the wiring in the house, this will determine whether the wiring will be able to handle the high current and no overheat. It also depends on the circuit breaker you have installed, whether ir can handle 10 , 15 or 20amp.

On a 10amp an average house can output 2400watt on one circuit, 15amp its 3600 watt, and 20amp its 4800watt.

  5. depends where you live.. australia 240volt and 10 amp..

  6. Normally here a maximum of 15 Amps for the round pin plugs, 13Amps for the square pin plugs and 5 Amps for the small round pin plugs.
