How much electricity does an average desk fan use?

Is it a lot? Some? Or would you say very little?

They use about as much as a 15 watt light bulb the big box window fan uses 30 60 and 90 watts on low med. and high, I have a watts dog devise that tell me how much electric things are using.

very little... it is only a little motor to move the little fan thigns around..its not like a blow dryer that tries to heat up the air that goes thru it
