How much electricity(in ampere) is required for a TVS 50 Champ Headlight?

if possible - how much electricity is required for headlight,tail light and how much is it in other bikes?

  1. That bulb is probably 50 watts, which would be about 4 amps on a 12 volt system.  The other bulbs would be about 10 watts each, or a little under 1 amp each.


  2. Watts divided by volts = amps.

  3. The ohms of resistance is stamped on the bulb. To get the ampherage you need to have two parts of the equation. Ohms law is what you use. Then to figure all the bulbs you have to know if it is a series or parallel circut. Here's a site that calculates it. As a rule most 12 volt bulbs are 8ohms resistance although a headlamp could be higher. Good luck.
