How much energy does a Ryobi 12 volt battery charger use?

I am fighting with someone that says that my Ryobi 12 volt Battery Charger runs up the electric bill. Does anyone know how much energy it uses?

What you have to do is find out how many watts it is.  Find that number, that is how much is used in an hour when it is plugged in, charging or not.  If it is,lets say 20 watts, than in about 2 days it will move your electric meter 1 kilowatt (1000 watts), or about 15 kilowatts in a month. Now you can account for that usage on your electric bill, when it says you have used 2000 kilowatts this month.

Remember all that little stuff adds up. Just like when you think you have your computer off, turn off your surge protector or unplug it and listen to the sounds of all the energy booting down.
